The "Old Sow" and her piglets comprise the largest whirlpool in the western hemisphere. They can be enjoyed from land at the cul-de-sac at the north end of Water Street in Eastport or from the Seaview Campground or Restaurant on Norwood Road. However, a water view on the New Brunswick Ferry from Eastport to Deer Island or on one of the local fishing, sailing, or whale watching trips is even better.
